The water bucket collection method I found to be cumbersome and the water mixed with the dust would create a muddy mess in the hose line. Finally when you are done vacuuming with that system, you then had to wash out the muddy hose. I think if you can't get your hands on a HEPA filter system with the proper collection

bags, then the water bucket system is OK but, the best . most efficient method is dry vacuuming with the HEPA system.
With either the hand sander or the pole sander you will be using sanding screens not regular sand paper sheets. Sanding screens allow the dust to be drawn through them into the vacuum. You need to use a lighter touch when sanding with sanding screens, especially when used in conjunction with the vacuum suction of the dust free system. If you are a little heavy handed you will scratch the drywall mud you are trying to smooth out. It also good to pull the vacuum hose off from time to time and vacuum off your sanding screen to avoid build up of potential drywall mud scratching particles gathering on the screen.
There are other dry sanding sanders out there in the marketplace which I haven't used that may well be as good as the Fiba Tape sander. Hyde makes one called the Dust Dog which I may try out some day in the future, it's design is somewhat similar to the FIba Tape sander.
One other point to make about the HEPA filters: these are available for other brands of shop vacuums such as Ridgid,. They are also available for the renown Fein Power Tools canister vacuum.
